January 13, 200917 yr Young was not a starter very long in the NFL. McNabb may pass him yardage and TD number wise, but not from an overall efficiency standpoint or per game averages. Just looked at the stats of McNabb, Young, and Aikman. McNabb's stats are certainly better than Aikman, but fall quite a bit short of Young (in completion %, Yards Per Attempt, TD's, QB rating). McNabb probably will end up with stats worthy of consideration, but he really needs to have a ring on his finger to merit serious consideration. An MVP award wouldn't hurt, either.
January 13, 200917 yr How about a ring and a Super Bowl MVP award this year? lol...I can only hope.Gets him much closer, if not in. As of now, I don't think he is in.
January 13, 200917 yr As of right now I dont see him being a sure bet HOF. I think for the junk/crap hes taken over the years he defintley done great things, but like mjalltheway stated if he could somehow get that super bowl ring I def think thats when things could get interesting and that could be his calling card.
January 13, 200917 yr Author We have to see how his career plays out. I think it may still be too early. Ultimately, that is correct. A couple more deep playoff runs could do the trick.
January 14, 200917 yr His numbers are comparable to Warners so I can't see him making it either. Don't think a superbowl win would help him all that much.
January 14, 200917 yr Right now no, but if he gets a ring before his career is over I would think that they have to consider him at least, the guy has done nothing but win and produce in my opinion, the only thing that has eluded him is the big one, which I hope he gets before his career is over.
January 14, 200917 yr I think he is in and will def. be in with 3-5 more years of solid play. I also think Warner is in.
January 14, 200917 yr A couple more good years and he is in. The guy has been to like 47 NFC championships with nothing but him and a good D
January 14, 200917 yr The thing is he is only like 32 years old. He still has several good years left in him I think. If Philly loses this week the fans will be all over him. If they are I wish he could get to Carolina.
January 14, 200917 yr I think he should, but I've always been a fan of his. Hold on Jim Schue...we are a fan of the same thing?
January 14, 200917 yr Hold on Jim Schue...we are a fan of the same thing? Until Louisville joined the BEast, I was a closet 'Cuse FB fan (now I can't freakin' stand them, for obvious reasons). Loved him when he was there, especially that thrilling win over a really good Miami team in the CarrierDome.
