I'm kind of torn on this place.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's good. I've ate at Chipoltes several times and never came away disappointed. It just seems like an upscale moes to me.

 

If I'm craving Mexican, there are several places I would put in front of Chipoltes.

Chipotle is a fully ripened smoked Japaleno pepper. It adds an extra layer of flavor to various types of cooking. If you like spicy food you should like it. My family likes grilled pork loin with Chipotle seasoning and BBQ.

I absolutely love some Chipotle. I've never had the steak burrito but I enjoy both the chicken and barbacoa with black beans and the hot salsa. Add some Tobasco and I'm ready. I have noticed one thing, the burritos have shrunk a bit since I ordered my first one.

I think it's a matter of the different foods you put in. Around lunch they're a little stingier because they're moving so fast but you go around 9 when they're close to closing they'll load you up. Either way I'm ALWAYS full.:banana:

I like to get the fajita chicken to avoid the filling rice. I use the chipotle sauce and douse my burrito with it as I am eating it. Good stuf but tons of calories.

I have a serious addiction to this place.

 

Veg Bowl - Rice, Black Beans, Green Sauce, Corn, Guac, and Chipotle hot sauce. Eat it with a bag of chips. Wow. I have to go tomorrow now.
