Pike started off really well... I'm not sure what happend between the first drive of the game till the last... But something went horribly wrong.

Great job by my Hokies, their defense showed up after a nice first drive by the Bearcats.

Color blindness?

Cincinnati got beat in every aspect of the game. Had to have missed 15-20 tackles. Great season with the wrong ending. Pike on that modified bootleg was the wrong time to be cute.

Defense couldn't tackle, and Pike was horrible. If Kelly wanted to shake up his offense, he should've put Grutza in there in the 3rd instead of running the quick hurry up offense. Pike showed no heart on that 4th and goal run.

And watch out for VaTech in the next couple years. They are loaded with freshmen and sophomores.

You think Bud Foster will be in demand on the clinic circuit this spring and summer on stifling the spread?

VPI's win is the first ACC win in a BCS game since 1999.

I enjoyed watching this game more than any bowl game so far. That is due to the fact that both teams play football the way I love to see it played - emphasis on Defense and special teams (especially VT).

Frank Beamer is one of my favorite college coaches and imo one of the very best coaches in the country, he is a class act.

Brian Kelly is a very good coach as well, if he stays ay UC then this will not be their last trip to a BCS bowl and Big East championship.

VT's goal line stand late in the 4th was the ball game.

Nothing could sell the tickets to this game, lol.

:thumb: I certainly agree with this.

The play call was a very bad choice. Either call an HB dive or a quick slant. Either of those calls would have been more effective than Pike keeping the ball.
