I kind of hate to see threads on mis-matches like this. Everybody has down years and takes their lumps every now and then...but you can't even predict the final margin on games like this. It's all a question of how soon EC puts in the scrubs...

I just wondered if Boyd Co posters would have placed those type of Icons on BGPreps years ago while manhandling teams like Elliott Co. Maybe, Maybe not...just wondering.

Yes!!!!!!!! That was back in my day and Boyd and some others were beating Elliott boys and girls by 50 and 60 point margins and didn't call off the dawgs.

No one said a word when they were doin it to Elliott. Now Elliott fans are giving the sleep icon back to them. We have already been on the recieving end Mr. Cool. Now we are on the giving end.:dancingpa

Who would have thought 15 years ago that this game would get predictions like this? My how times have changed. Unless Elliott's team comes down with the flu, the bus has a flat tire, or they play 2 on 5 this game will get ugly fast and then just get uglier, and uglier.

My wife and I are 50/50 at this point on going to the UK bowl game or going to Myrtle Beach. Our anniversary is on the 28th and my birthday is on the 29th. Choices, choices...

 

If I were you , I'd go to Myrtle Beach. That would be a great trip. GO ELLIOTT CO!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::walk::ylsuper::flame::thumb::fight:

Gotta take the good with the bad...but some on here take it to an extreme which to me is violating BGP rule #2. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around, dont get me wrong. But we are talking about high school kids, not adults. Please keep this in mind. FOR THE RECORD- I would say the same thing to BC if BGP was up and running years ago. I pray for a safe and injury free game, cause I also enjoy watching these young men from Elliott.

LL you hit the bullseye, Elliott has had great success and well deserved. But it wont last forever.

Elliott has took their fair share of lumps in the past. They have done some things lately that many other small Class A schools have never and will never do and that's something to be proud of. I have news for you too, they won't be as good as this year in the near future, but the cupboard is hardly bare after the Faulkners and Ferguson graduate.

I beg- to -Differ, I was at some of them games when Boyd played Elliott, and some of those games could have been real bad if the coach did not sub and he did. I dont think nobody here has said Elliott has run the score up on anybody, Elliotts coach has to much class to do so.So to open a can of worms like that is unecessary.
