Worst Call Ever?

Featured Replies

I don't know the play so I'm not arguing with you. However, the "over the back" and "blocking out" rules are some of the most misunderstood rules in basketball by fans.

Yeah, just ask Scott Hundley and Billy Hicks!

:D

At the Don Dekinger School of Officiating, YOU can become a registered sports official for just $19.99. Your OFFICIAL sports kits includes a whistle, a rule book (optional), and a pair of tight black pants. Call NOW!!! Operators are standing by!

This is one of those videos where the more times you watch it, the funnier it gets.

I love the sounds in the background. There is a collective "YEAHHHH!!!!" which immediately turns to "OHHHHHH!!!!"

I laugh everytime I watch this. It is so funny.:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks for sharing that funny video. My son got a kick out of it also. We watched it 3 times.

94 13th Region semi-finals Clay Co.vs Harlan. The Foul they called on the big kid from Harlan with no time on the clock. Clay made two @ the line to win the game.

The Clay Co./Corbin game regional semifinal sometime in the 90's was the worst that I ever saw. Corbin leading by 1 with about 2 seconds left, Clay has the ball under their own basket and throw it to a kid who is almost at midcourt who takes a couple of dribbles just past midcourt and launches a prayer of a shot that is not close. Corbin is celebrating what they thought was a big win only to see Bobby Keith huddled up with an official(won't mention his name, but 13th region fans could easily guess who he was), who then clears the court and gives Clay 2 FT's, Clay wins. WYMT showed the replay several times and stated their was no chance that Corbin fouled on the play, but it didn't matter at that point.

Edit

Even worse than the call is the hair cut and goggles on defensive #40 (with knee brace)

There were some bad calls in the State Tourney last year in the last quarter of the Mason-Elliott game. I'm not from either school but though Elliott got the shaft on several calls.:ylsuper:
