Jared wasn't the only one that was a reciepient of all Gary had to offer. Baseball was a passion of his as well.

I think it comes down to bad blood from the two big losses, but I agree completely with what you said about kids going to NC for the catholic education. This series needs to be revived. CovCath/Highlands is a great rivalry, but NewCath/Highlands was the best in my mind. I'm sure it's been watered down some by the classification difference and the emergence of other rivalries, but it would still be something special.

 

It doesn't have to do with bad losses or Bob and Dale. It's all about NCC and Highlands students fighting before and after games. The game is very emotional and I for one, I'm glad they don't play each other anymore.

There was a massively bad idea if there ever was one. :irked: Those little kids playing football in the end zone are just rehearsing for the day they take the big field. They're the future of the HHS tradition.
