Library Time

Featured Replies

So I'm in the library yet again. I'm a senior after a few more credit hours, and I must say, this is by far the most time I've spent in the library compared to any previous semesters.

Now with that said, this semester, up until the end, has also seemed less stressful, and my grades over all have seemed better as well. I've almost come to appreciate the library. I never once thought I'd say that but it's true, especially with it's occasional distraction from the studying by means of the cute female passing by. However, I really am looking forward to not having to be in the library for about a month after today.:dancingpa

Amen.... I have grown tired of classes, and the dreaded library. I look forward to a break until mid-January.

Last class of the day was cancelled yet again, so it's off to the gym I go, hi ho hi ho, it's off the gym I go.

I have never stepped foot into NKU's library lol. I am all about JSTOR or whatever it is online.

Can't wait for a month off either though!

Library is overrated lol.

:thumb: Agreed. I cant concentrate if things are too quiet.

I also prefer JSTOR and their online articles. However the library is one of the few places I can focus. I can go in the library and accomplish in 2-3 hours in there what would ususally take me a full day sitting around the house.

I'm way to easily distracted, I'm convinced I have some mild form of A.D.D, which may also be why I have to post on here so much, just for something to do. :D

What is this library you speak of?

The only place I can seem get myself motivated enough to get good grades.

haha, I DO have ADD. And in fact I have been sitting here trying to do a 15 page paper due Friday and have got absolutely nothing done! I could use the library right about now, but I am not driving all the way up to school to use it. BGP is distracting me as well, that could be a problem ha.

As the song says "You're gonna miss this. You're gonna want this back." Trust me on that!;)

A good library is high on my list of favorite things/places.

I took my mother to see my son @ UE, and he gave us the grand tour. One stop was the library. Later, my mother confided in me that she was so impressed...not only did he know where it was, but he showed us his study place, where the parts of the library were that he spent the most time/accessed most for research, and....the kicker....the librarian knew him by name. I was laughing so hard, because she was so proud of him....just for that alone. :D Don't diss the library...it's your friend. If you don't acknowledge that, it'll be much tougher for you.

All i've got left to do is revise a paper and a Final on friday them i'm free.

Until next semseter that is
