My wife goes to the library every day. Must be because she works there.

I was in there today.

Who knew so many pretty girls went to the library..

Told you so. I go in there so they have some hot guys to look at.

As far as the "dead period", my professors must not know what that is. LOL.

In my JOU 321 Publication Skills class, the porfessor had an 8-page newletter for us to complete by today. He lives in Fort Mitchell so our newsletter was to contain information from the Fort Mitchell Focus....a newsletter for the fine folks in Ft. Mitchell....apparently he's the one that puts it together. The kicker here is that the professor is a joke and pretty much compares all of our work towards this one kids that already knew how to do things in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and the other products Adobe puts out. 95% of the class didn't and if we didn't do things like the one kid in question, he would tell us it should be done like he does. GRRRRR!!! But at least the final for his class is a take home final that can be done in about 2 hours TOPS!

My JOU 220 - Newswriting I course is fairly easy but we have another assignment to do in class tomorrow. We have to write a 2 page paper about Bono's speech at the NAACP Awards. We are to do it as if we were reporting on it for a newspaper. I have a makeup AP style quiz in class tomorrow, a makeup 2-3 page assignment that is due by Tuesday, and my final paper which is supposed to be 4-5 pages long that is also due on Tuesday.

My JOU 385 - Law of Mass Communications course is one of two that I have an in-class final for next week. It's an essay type final but since the professor is behind by a couple weeks, she's only had last week and this week to cover the material for the final, which is just another regular ol' test....nothing special, so I'm hoping that it won't be too terribly difficult.

My fourth and final course, is ANT 100 - Cultural Anthropology course. For those of you on here from NKU and have had Michael Simonton for this course, you know how easy he is. I've not done as well on his tests as I should have....I am terrible at test taking and that is why I would rather do LOTS of assignments if it means that I don't have to do a test LOL....but his class is easy nonetheless. I've got a paper in his class due next week when we come in to take our final. This class, like my JOU 385 course, has a final that is just a regular test. His are all multiple choice and are usually in patterns.

So I've got a take home final in one class, 3 papers and an AP style quiz for another, a non-comprehensive final in a third, and a non-comprehensive and a paper in the fourth. I've got this on top of having to work two basketball games on Friday and Saturday as part of the NKU women's basketball teams Travel America Classic and two games on Saturday and four on Sunday as part of the Bluegrass/Buckeye Charity Holiday Classic....well five on Sunday if you count the "celebrity" game they're planning on having.

:( So sorry.

Mine isn't quite so brutal after I get this 15 page paper done. Brit Lit 425 is the worst most painful class I've ever taken in my 4 years at NKU lol.

Good luck with everything. Have fun with the games this weekend, let it take your mind off things!

The work isn't going to be hard....it's just that its going to take up a BUNCH of time. I'm definitely going to look forward to this semester being over with. Oh and I hope the games do take my mind off things....very much looking forward to seeing the CovCath student section and to see Scott County playing.
