I haven't seen all 12 play, but I have seen the following:

 

Highlands, Trinity, NCC, Beechwood, SK, Central, and Christian Co. I'd say 7 is a pretty good amount.

 

BTW, I don't see how some people can put either Beechwood or SK in front of Newcath when Newcath dominated both. (31-20 over Beechwood...led 31-13 late in the game...beat SK 37-15)

 

Beechwood had more yards gained in their game against NCC and their defense gave up one TD drive. So NCC clearly did not dominate BW in that game. BW had an uncharacteristic 5 turnovers and that was the difference in the game. I can see where some might put Beechwood ahead of NCC based on those facts. I still rank NCC higher because NCC did beat them, regardless of how it happened.

With SK, every single one of their regular season games you might as well throw out. They are playing on a level so high, it's ridiculous.

Agreed. I put NCC one notch above BW because NCC got the W. I think NCC and BW should both be ranked higher than SK. If SK gives Trinity a real game, my opinion will likely change and I will move SK above both of them, even though NCC beat SK.

Head to head? Ask Oklahoma about head to head with Texas. Did that mean anything? What did Simon Kenton do to Boone County second time around after a 42-7 loss? What did Simon Kenton do to Conner the second time around after regular season loss? They won because they improved. Just like IMO would win against my #11 second time around. Thats why I have them #6.

It looks like you went pretty much by class (6A down to A) in your list. I think if you look at some of the smaller schools schedules you will see them beating up on teams well above them in class. I think NCC, Beechwood, Ft. Campbell and Bell County can play with any team in the state, outside of perhaps T, X and Highlands who just have too many one way players. Tell those three to pick their best 11 out and match up against the best 11 of the others I mentioned and it would be some good games.
