Final BCS rankings will determine which of the 3 (OU, Texas, or Tech) gets the #1 slot in the Big 12 South.

I'm not asking who you think SHOULD get it. I'm asking who you think WILL get it.

I think Texas will but Oklahoma should.

I read today that Leach says the conference should look at the graduation rates of the 3 schools. Tech's last report showed a 79% rate vs 50 and 49 for the others.

Oklahoma

In one of the earlier predicition threads I had Florida playing Choklahoma in the BCS Title game...looks like it may very well come to fruition.

You know, I like his (Leach) thinking! The schools where education doesn't take a back seat to sports, should be rewarded! Great idea indeed, of course it won't happen but great idea!

Why are the media (and Mack Brown) trying to use the argument that if Oklahoma goes it is some sort of crime because Texas beat Oklahoma AND Missouri? They are leaving out the fact that Texas lost to Texas Tech. It's a THREE-WAY tie and Oklahoma clearly deserves to go when you compare the 3 teams.

Going to be very interesting tonight. This is a dead heat right now...

And when you compare Texas and Oklahoma, Texas beat Oklahoma. I think that is the arguement, a very strong one Mack Brown has.

You're kinda making my point for me...

Head to head is kind of meaningless right now. I think Oklahoma is the strongest at the moment so I lean towards them. That said, I would have no problem if Texas gets the nod.

Texas Tech threw the head to head argument out the window when Crabtree broke free.

I think it will be decided by thousandths of a point tonight...

It just seems like OU is getting the benefit of the schedule because they got to play Tech and OSU later in the year.

I just dont see how a head to head matchup can be thrown out the window. That seems like a big deal to me. We could find a team with 4 losses that beat a team that beat another team impressively that didn't beat the same team by as much and claim that 4 loss team should be National Champs!

I personally think it should be Texas based on their head to head matchup in Dallas. But I know head to heads go out the window in a three way tie so I think it will end up being Oklahoma because they were the last team to put up some big wins (Texas Tech and OK State).
