We've had threads on this topic before, BUT if you could travel back in time and change one thing you did or didn't do (but wish you had) years ago, what would it be?

I would have went to Vandy out of h.s. Instead, I went to UK, I loved Vandy but it was SO expensive.

Probably worked around the beach somewhere while I was in college. I did A LOT and had experiences that would blow a lot of minds but I always think about what it would have been like to work at a resort in the summer. I was between going to grad school or getting married. I had been accepted to Fla St and Geo but went the marriage route. I finished my Master's but it was at Morehead. I don't regret but sometimes wish I had those experiences.

Before I answer the question; our son attended Vandy; had just enough of his dad's genes:D to graduate magna cum laude.

 

He LOVED it!

I would have also tried to get a Football G.A. job at a large University if I decided to go a different route.

I would have moved back to my home town when my child started school. I think she would have gotten a much better education and more opportunities in the sports world.

I would have finished college but instead went into the job force. But, now I make more money than most people out of college. The economy has not hurt me one bit.

I was offered a job playing right field with the Chillicothe Paint Horses semipro baseball club out of college. I declined in order to go to law school. I wake up and kick myself every day over that decision.

I might've zagged instead of zigged.

I would spend more time with my grandparents.

Wish I would have insisted far, far sooner that my dad go get checked out by some specialists (not just his general practitioner) about some medical issues he was dealing with. By the time he was properly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, it was way too late and he had only a few short months.

Probably went to class a little more spring semester.

Unfortunately many in the Frontier League have to make the choice of baseball or career. Many good players are lost because of it.

I would have worked less and be with PH and the girls more. When time is gone, it is gone forever. I would have educated myself on radiation treatments (especially in the great amounts that PH had) and would have known to get his circulation checked yearly. I doubt if that would have saved his legs, but, who knows. Other than hubby's health and not spending more time with him and the girls, I love my life the way it is. I would have gone to college out of high school and not waited until I was married. I might have lived out on my own a while before PH and I got married...maybe waited until I was a little older to get married....That way it would have not been such a big adjustment for me. Also, it would have made PH's life a little easier in our first years of marriage LOL!

I would have taken one of the scholarship offers I received.

 

Would have put a little more effort into school and taken life a little more serious in general.

 

I would have also invested in google :lol:
