Since apparently I'm the only one who thinks he would, I thought I'd give it it's own thread and a poll.

For the record, UNC's normal starting five will be:

Lawson

Ellington

Ginyard

Thompson

Hansbrough

^And Patterson would replace Thompson if he were at Chapel Hill....

I may agree with that, but I'm not telling you...

I personally don't think Patterson would start over Thompson.

Patterson would be starting over Thompson. Thompson would have not have gotten the chance to start to begin with if Patterson had went there. Thompson is a great player, but Im just saying if Patterson had gone to UNC. Then Patterson would have been the one starting to replace Brandon Wright, and not Thompson IMO.

So the people that are voting no, you don't think a lottery pick in the NBA draft would start at UNC?

Not Saying I disagree, but Marvin Williams didn't, and this UNC was deeper than that UNC team.

I would vote for sometimes.

Yes, the only reason anyone is saying no is because of his performance last night, which is what happens when you're the best player for a team that struggling and you're playing a team that extremely full of talent and discipline.

Not true at all.

100% yes

Yes, and there is very little doubt in my mind.

Patterson would start over Thompson, and Lawson would get him more touches HA.

Do you honestly think, tht after the first 2 games of the season, Patterson has showed that he is a lottery pick? I am a Patterson fan, don't get me wrong. But he hasn't shown what he is capable of.
