I would vote for sometimes.

This should have been in the poll... :thumb:

Yes Patterson would start at UNC, and Lawson would make him a lottery pick. Unless UK can find someone to get him the ball he doesn't have a chance of getting drafted let a lone being a lottery pick.

PP will be a higher pick and better NBA player than Pyscho T, but he would not start over Tyler. I think Thompson and PP would take turns starting depending on the opponent and what Roy thought was best for the team.

Do you honestly think, tht after the first 2 games of the season, Patterson has showed that he is a lottery pick? I am a Patterson fan, don't get me wrong. But he hasn't shown what he is capable of.

Patterson can't pass the ball to himself....If you watched the game last night, every time he touched the ball he showed why. It's not his fault that they don't run an actual offense and give him touches.

I just don't think Thompson is in the same league as PP.

Patterson would start at any college in America. No, he would not be the star, but he is skilled enough and works hard enough to start and make a major contribution at any college.

I think they are.

Patterson solidified himself last night as an All American performer. He sealed off his man and has awesome hands when thrown the ball. He would start for Thompson no doubt. But how sick would that lineup be.

What is sad is UK can't even run any half court sets to get the ball to him because their guard play can't hang on to the ball long enough to run anything.

Patterson needs to keep playing hard and demanding the ball from his teammates. They need to fear him a little bit and hopefully Meeks will calm down with his forced shots and 5-20 shooting.

Patterson can do much more than Thompson on both sides of the floor. It's easy to look at what Thompson did last night and give him the edge. But replace porter with Lawson, or better yet switch teams with Patterson and Thompson and Patterson still goes 8 for his first 8, but it would have heppend in the first 8 minutes of the game. Thompson would have never seen the ball, much less have gotten the easy flushes like he got.

With Psycho T in the lineup I have a hard time seeing Patterson in there and Roy pushing tempo like he desires. I'm a huge Patterson fan, but they would have to be much more of a high/low style tempo with those two...

Did Williams recruit PP?

Did Williams recruit PP?

Don't think so...

That may help prove your point GT. He didn't recruit May either.

More than the fact that they just couldnt keep the ball for more than a second, they took horrible angles when they did attempt a pass.
