Can anyone tell me why they don't play?

 

Why does Michael Porter play, it obviuos he is aweful, don't blame it on Tubby he isn't here anymore. Gillispie makes the playing decisions.

IMO Stewer shouldn't play. Porter is horrible, play Miller or Liggins. Liggins will only get better with time.

I think everyone agrees including Porter himself that he is not good enough to play at Ky. We are just very young at this position. I think Gillespie is using Porter to get through the first 2 games and then the next game we play Liggins will start. As bad as Meeks don't want to play point, he may have to play some.

AJ must not play hard and Gillespie is doing this to get him to transfer so he can use AJ's scholarship on one of his own recruits. Coach must have found out Galloway is not as good as he thought he was when he recruited him.

I'll believe Galloway isn't as good as Porter when he actually gets in. My guess is Billy is being a subborn mule.

From what I have been told Galloway is really bad in practice in just about every phase of the game. Not going to get much clock when that happens...

Some players are better when the lights are on. He has to be able to out perform Porter.

If Galloway is "really bad" compared to Porter then he wouldn't get much playing time on many high school teams.

Funny but true.

I like BCG's enthusiasm and recruiting work ethics, but his stubborness in not changing his style of play to fit his players abilities instead of force feeding his way only down their throats is not working and probably won't until he gets the last of Tubby's boys cycled through the program. I am sure Ramon Harris is good kid and good athlete, but not much of a ball player and to be player of the year in Alaska just doesn't say much for Alaskan basketball. Porter neeeds to sit alot more and just go with Miller and Liggins and Stewart and let them play through their mistakes.

Ramon is the least of the Cats worries. He is good on D and gives a nice 8-12 a game. Every team needs a guy like that but unfortunately for the cats hes there 3rd option.

No not really, who do you go with Porter or Miller & Liggins. I'll take Miller and Liggins splitting time with Harris going to the bench more also, because from what everyone else has said on here there isn't anyone else.
