I hope the Raceland team is focused NOW, and not just waiting on Friday. This game is not going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination. I also hope that the team does not believe some of the BLOW OUT scores that have been predicted here.

 

Fairview is a dangerous team, that wants to win badly. Fairview gained some confidence last week and will come into this game expecting to win.

 

Raceland, it is up to you. Are you satisfied with 11 wins? Do you want more? Do you want to quit now? Do you want 15 games this year?

As long as the Rams don't look ahead, their defense should take care of business in this game. Fairview didn't move the ball much in the first meeting.

 

Fairview, however, is good enough to win if the Rams give them anything. Playoff mantra for favorites: Avoid turnovers and play solid defense...and win.

Rams have had a great season but a rival game such as this should not be as easy as some are predicting. I wish both teams a great game and injury free. You know how the saying goes it is hard to beat the same team twice.It will definetly be worth coming out to watch.

 

I can promise you that our coaches, players and at least most of our fans here do not think that this game will be an easy one at all. Raceland has to go out like they have every week so far.....focused, play each play, hit and hit hard on every hit, leave it all out on the field.

From the talk on the streets in and around the area, Raceland is the underdog! I have heard it from football fans from all the other schools and they all say, "You know you can't beat them twice in a season, they are too good." I just have one thing to say to you Raceland Rams, get ready for a football war! The Eagles are coming and they don't expect their season to be over after Friday night. They do not respect anything you have accomplished and they don't care to let you know it. You better come out playing smash mouth football like you did in the second half of the game at Fairview or we'll be buying tickets to watch them play next week.

Well, anyway, there are friends of mine from the local schools who have kids playing sports (not just football) that told me straight up that we couldn't win again this week. Suprisingly, the Russell fans have been the most supportive of Raceland. Thanks guys.
