Lou. Shawnee won tonight. I think they had a 4 seed. Also first playoff win in school history.

Shawnee was a #3 seed, I think.

I don't consider Seneca and Ballard to be upsets at all. I felt like the Trinity-Ballard-Eastern-Seneca district had a good chance to pull off the sweep.

 

Simon Kenton, on the other hand, is a bit of a surprise.

Fairview is ranked ahead of Campbellsville.

Gallatin beat Bellevue 33 - 28 and PRP beat Meade Co. 27 - 7. Either of these considered upsets?

Gallatin County, certainly.

I dont think their was what I would consider a real upset. We throw that term around rather loosely. The closest was Highlands/BS. That would have been an upset! Congrats to Highlands and the BS kids...both should be proud!

Let the teams playing in tough districts have a chance to prove themselves on the field. With 3s and 4s winning tonight, it is a statement in favor of the current system in my opinion.
