District 5 sweeps District 1

Trinity d. Graves County

Eastern d. Mad.-North Hopkins

Ballard d. Henderson County

Seneca d. Daviess County

District 5 is very good this year. Congratulations on sweeping the first round. :thumb:

I see D5 sweeping the next two rounds as well.:creepy::jump:

That's why we should only let two teams in from each district!:creepy:

NoKY 6A district won 3 of 4...another example of why 4 teams from the diustrict is ok with me.

Not a big shock, really.

Huge win by Seneca

No surprise at all in either case for the Louisville or No Ky districts to win out against other districts. These areas have larger, localized populations that make it easier to have good developmental programs and tougher competition to make them get better.

I would think this would be even MORE of a reason for a four team system.

Maybe we should just let in 1 team from each region so that we can all get to playing basketball sooner.

Will the next round have Ballard versus Estern, and Seneca versus The Rocks?

No, Eastern hosts Seneca and Trinity hosts Ballard.

Not a big shock, really.

Nine of the 11 Jefferson County 6A teams won yesterday (Butler losing to Greenwood and Southern to Scott County).

Any other District sweeps out there (at any level)

Doesn't say much for WKYs 6A district. :irked:

Not so much.

I think this speaks volumes about the quality of football in Jefferson County.
