There were some who were picking SK to get blown out. I wasn't buying it. If the Pioneers show up to play the way they can, they are the best 6A team in NKY imo. They have a lot of weapons and it sounds like both their offense and defense are finally clicking together.

20-19 Conner, CHS scored twice in like 4 mins at the end of the game.

yes, game will be at Conner next Friday night at 7:30 pm.

 

This will be a slobber knocker...SK still mad as hell over this early season loss and Conner tired of hearing people say they were lucky to win that game. I expect Coach Trosper to have a fired up team for this one. Key will be in stopping Simpson/Dewalt for the Cougars and stopping West/Engleman for Pioneers.

Congrat's to Pioneers on this first round victory - looks like you dominated Lafayette!

SK once again looked very stout on the defensive side of the ball, if not for a muffed punt that set Lafayette up with good field posession, it may have been a shutout. Lafayette did a decent job containing Simpson, but he still made some big plays and still scored four TDs. Really suprised that Lafayette threw the heck out of the pigskin, looking at their statistics they only attempted around 15 passes/ game, and I would bet they threw 75% of the time. I think this could really be beneficial since Conner will do the same. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Chad Lawrence undefeated as starting QB for the past three seasons? I look forward to the game against Conner, I think both teams are improved since week #3, should be a good one.
