Highlands 28 Bryan Station 22

My pulse is still way up there and I wasn't even at the game! I can only imagine how old timers like BF and LN felt. ;)

I'm glad I'm NOT an old timer!

I bet LN walked six miles in front of the concession stand during the last minute of the game.

Oh no I almost included you but didn't want to feel the wrath of 72 Birdman. BF and LN are harmless. ;)

I still say Highlands probably wins this game by 2 TD's if not for the 3-4 fumbles and the personal foul Highlands commited on the 3 yard line, which resulted in a no score.

I have no wrath left...I have been married 30 years.

You are probably right, but they did happen, that's why they played the game.

We know LN is harmless. Henry keeps him on a short leash. :sssh:;)

SK scrimmaged BS this season, and one of the Pioneers' staff told me they would be the biggest and most athletic team they would face all season long. I guess I can eat my words, didn't think BS would come anywhere close to being close. Did Conner play significant minutes tonight?

Yes he did. He scored at least once probably had around 20 total touches.

Conner, from what I heard, was the feature back tonight, so yes.

Since nobody has pointed it out #55 was it... the hero of Ft. Thomas this weekend recovering the 2nd Conner fumble. You saved the season.

Conner fumbled twice?

Conner fumbled twice?

Highlands had 3-4 total fumbles. Guidulgi had 2 including one in the end zone which Collinsworth thankfully jumped on for the first HHS TD. Conner fumbled on the game winning drive and #55 saw it and gobbled it up. I am almost certain he fumbled in the first half as well but it was on the exchange. As I said in my first post, HHS did everything possible to give this one away.

This could have been a great upset, well congrats to Highlands on a great win.
