I told the coach in parting that his team had nothing to be ashamed of and they could hold their heads high...what an excellent game...I think my BP and pulse are just about back to normal!

I would say you are correct but the birds have had there wakeup call now. I am sure no one else will catch them dozing the way they did tonight.

IMO Ashland and Johnson Central don't pose a big of a threat to the Birds as BS did. I can't imagine either are big, fast, or athletic as BS was at every position.

They beat Ashland by two scores, but Johnson Central and Woodford County beat them. I really think Johnson Central, and maybe Ashland, could surprise Highlands.

Did you not learn anything tonight. Johnson Central is big and the linemen are very athletic. The backs are very good. The team speed is surprising.

Birds took the best of what an incredibly athletic team had to offer on a very, very off night and came out with a hard fought victory.

They will not be challenged for the remainder of the season, including the Finals.

I agree. If these teams take the game tonight and get too over confident against the Birds, they'll end up with the same fate as all the other teams Highlands played...a blowout loss.
