Gallatin 33-Bellevue 28. There are, AT LEAST, 21 young men (from Gallatin County) that LOVE the current playoff system.

As long as the #4's can win a game or two, the current system should stand. I would love to see the breakdown by seeds for all classes, I have a feeling 1-4A probably have less overall parity.

If there is just one game tonight where a #4 upsets a #1 then it is worth having 4 teams. IMHO!:ylsuper:

some 4 seeds won this Friday night. I say keep it. Champion teams will win no matter what.

0-10 football teams making the playoffs is a joke, and should be embarrassing to the KHSAA.

Watch some of the lopsided scores this week. The KHSAA needs to limit the playoffs to two teams per district. The 1 vs 4 games will be mismatch city all around the state.

 

This is the problem with not how many teams make the playoffs with four but having 6 classes folks. With four classes you had to earn your way in now we say we have to many making it that is a joke. Our kids want to be in the post season and yes there is upsets when 4's and 3's beat the 2's and 1's

it happens that is why we have the playoffs poeple. That is what makes this week as fun as any other week in the season. I remember what happen when we only had two teams make it to the postseason it was bad. We had problems with teams that was 9-2 and even 10-1 {then we played 11 games in a season] miss the playoffs. I tell you I don't want my team missing the playoffs at 9-1 or 8-2. That is what you get with a two team playoff system and one less week of high school football for the kids who want to play as well.
