November 12, 200817 yr "A Review of the Enforcement Regime for Vessel-Source Pollution Control" You know, there are two options here: 1) I can continue writing this paper on the international law of the sea as it regards conflicts over pollution of territorial waters by a foreign state or 2) I can just read through every single thread on BGP, hoping that takes up a few hours, and just hammer out something barely passable by Friday morning. Just look for the little green light and you'll see which choice I've made...

November 18, 200817 yr I don't read a lot. I want to start making it more of a habit before I go to bed to possibly help me relax. I saw the movie Marley and Me is coming out. I am thinking about reading the book before I see the movie.
November 18, 200817 yr Rough Edges by James Rogan. This is one of the most interesting autobiographies that I have ever read. By the time he was 16, Rogan had met former Presidents Reagan, Clinton, and Ford, along with Hubert H. Humphrey and many other politicians. After being suspended from high school 20 times, mostly for cutting class to listen to political speeches and collect autographs and political souvenirs, Rogan was expelled and never formally graduated. Rogan was born to a single mother on welfare in San Francisco's Mission District and overcame many obstacles to become a member of the House of Representatives. He is now a Superior Court Judge in California whose appointment to the federal bench is being blocked by Sen. Barbara Boxer because of his role in the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Most of the book is non-political and focuses on Rogan's unorthodox path to success. The book is full of entertaining stories involving Rogan's encounters with a strange cast of characters.
November 18, 200817 yr I just started reading "I Am America, And So Can You" by Stephen Colbert. Later.
