November 27, 200817 yr Hit the mother lode at Half-Price Books Tuesday night. Among other things, I found hardbacks of Michener's Caribbean, Hawaii, Chesapeake, Poland and Mexico for a buck apiece.
November 27, 200817 yr Re-reading "Death of a Dude" which is a Nero Wolfe by Rex Stout. Also re-reading "Proof" by Dick Francis. Also reading collection of sci-fi short stories contained in "1972 World's Best" collection. Also reading "Pop Goes The Weasel" by James Patterson.

I see them all the time, but have never picked one up. I used to have several Sci-Fi anthologies. Gave them all to the local public library over 20 years ago.
November 28, 200817 yr Just finished Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. It's about the life and love of Frank Lloyd Wright. I didn't care about him or his lover. I felt bad for their families, but couldn't identify with them at all. Now I've started Lamb, by Christopher Moore. It's much more lighthearted and should be a fun read.
