NewCath's lines won this game. No doubt.

I was very impressed, but honestly thought that's going to be the test for them. After watching the Campbell game last week, I felt that the D-Line needed to sure up themselves. It looks like to found something...

Great win by the Breds. No doubt the best team won tonight.

Tigers live and learn, and go on!

In the end, both teams are state contenders. Beechwood is in a better position. I can't believe that another class A team will match the speed and size. LCA is definitely formidable, but I think that this year's Beechwood team is better than last's.

What makes you all the #2 team in the state?

Honestly, history as the defending state champs (2-time). Granted, it's a new year, so last year does not count. But this team has the nucleus of last years championship team back at the core positions. Can the Breds 3-peat, only time will tell.

The Breds need to win two in a row again before looking for a 3peat.

I believe they said #2 in NKY. You can have the #2 ranking in the KY AP polls. Most of your fans, as well as all of ours, couln't care less about state AP polls. It's all about that next game.

Frankfort has a much more balanced attack than last year and have the tools to give beechwood all they can handle.

A matchup down the road should be VERY interesting.

OUTSTANDING!! GREAT JOB NCC!!

Fair, and by no means intimating that the Bred's are ready to 3peat, but if your looking for why they are ranked so high in the polls, it's based on there record and their histroy. I'm sure the AP has taken all this into consideration.

Congrats to the Breds, truly a well coached team from the top down. NT was not in top form and probably should have rested, but this game is second only to State for these kids and I understand him wanting to play. As good as Kelly looked, Kues was more impressive, smart, and accurate, a true field general, my hats off to you young man. Beechwoods coaches were on the wrong page all night, OC can not adjust to the game against a class team like the Breds, he was playing way above his head.

The road to the carpet is in the future for both these teams, good luck and stay healthy.

It was great to see NewCath play with HEART and desire. Solid win.

This was their first game that they put a full 4 quarters together. They have a very legitimate chance to bring home the championship this year.

Ben "Eskimo" Parr took one to the house from 65 yrds out. Nice job as he is coming on as a huge target for Kues while Escalante is out.

Congrats to the Breds.
