New South Park

Featured Replies

Unfortunately my family has decided that both the upstairs and downstairs tvs need to be tuned to the CMA Awards so I will have to wait for tonight's episode to be put online.

That's pretty sad. Not that you have to wait for the episode, but that your family is that captivated by a bunch of awful "artists" that they have to watch them on multiple TVs.

Wow, that was a little uncalled for?

Since that's a question, I'll answer for him.

No.

I watched it before I went to bed, it was pretty funny.

I've sworn off South Park. I used to watch occasionally, even though I had to overlook the language and some of the themes. I knew my wife didn't approve and I had to keep it a secret from my kids, but because it was funny, I justified it. Recently I watched an episode and the language was particularly bad and then they had two male characters having sex. It was the final straw for me. I decided that if I was doing something I was ashamed to admit to my kids or friends at church, then I shouldn't be doing it. I haven't missed it.

If you like the show and you read this, please don't think I'm being holier than thou. To each his own, we all have to set our own limits and I've simply decided South Park isn't within mine. I understand a lot of people watch the show and love it, and that is OK with me.

And yes, I realize I have probably now become my Dad. lol

No.

You see, the thing was, I wasn't asking YOU.

And yes, I realize I have probably now become my Dad. lol

I thought the reactions to the election were funny. The Oceans 11 takeoff wasn't very funny.

My thoughts exactly.

Okay. Why didn't someone tell me the online versions can get a little vulgar? :D I'm sitting here watching it, thinking it's like the ones on TV. Then comes the part where the "F" word gets used about 10 times in 10 seconds. By the time I get to the computer, it's too late.

You see, the thing was, I wasn't asking YOU.

But he did have the correct answer ... :D

You see, the thing was, I wasn't asking YOU.

Oh, you really WERE asking a question? (

I figured it was a typo.

So, besides swearing off South Park, you now:

a) trim your ear hair on a regular basis

b) own a station wagon with the cool fake wood trim

c) holler at the kids to "turn down that infernal racket"

yes

no

yes

I'm doomed.

I'm doomed.

In the immortal words of Meat Loaf...

...two out of three ain't bad.

I also have a recliner chair with a permanent butt imprint.

I am guilty of making the kids go and do stuff for me, sometimes just because they have their shoes on.

I say "because I said so" at least once a day.

I'm doomed

The celebration was the best part. I think they tried a little too hard with the main plot though. They had the Palin voice down perfect though. And you almost knew they would make fun of the "change" slogan.
