November 4, 200817 yr I liked what I saw, the talent level is already much improved. I like what I saw from Harris, he was aggressive going to the hoop, bad thing is he can't shoot from the line to save his life. I must say that I wish Meeks would be a little less shy on offense, the guy passes up way too many shots.

I am sure that U.K. was not close to being advanced enough to play and almost get beat by an N.A.I.A. team like Looeyville did. What a challenge :eek:, Pitino almost lost to a school an N.A.I.A. school. He was outcoached in it as well (of course i will give you that H. osborne usually 0utcoaches anyone). Let's see, an NA.I.A. Georgetown team takes the mighty final four Cardinals to the limit, yep that is an NCAA powerhouse to me. I guess that the Cards just didn't have the talent and were lucky to get the "W":rolleyes:. Who's up next for the Pitino powerhouse? Oh yes, it's Northern Kentucky, another final four contender:eek:! With testing like this U.L. will surely be ready........for the N.A.I.A. tournaments.
November 4, 200817 yr I was impressed with this U.K. team. This team will be a fun to watch and will be a lot better than expected by the so called experts. I can honestly see why they are ranked where they are though. I like the low rankings, that gives this team something to prove in which imo they will do just that. Miller, Harrelson, Meeks, Patterson....really all looked good tonight. Granted,we weren't playing much but it did give this team a good pre season opener and tune up. I was overall pleased with everything tonight. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!
