G-town would beat that team 20-30 points. You all do realize that G-town is an NAIA elite. That being said, UofL played very poorly against them. And there is no excuse for that. Except for the fact that these games are meaningless. You don't play these games to win or lose. You are looking for rotations, sub. patterns, chemistry etc. The rare thing about the UofL vs. NKU game is that the Cards are going to travel to NKU to play the game. It is unfair to judge a team off a exhibtion performance. I was probably more impressed with Miller than anyone on UK's team last night. He was much more aggresive and physical. The Harrelson kid put up good numbers. However, That team didn't have a kid tall enough to check UK's bigs. So, it was not a fair game to evaluate his skills. He's got a nice jumper, but doesn't seem real athletic.

November 4, 200817 yr No person is doubting that UK's opponent was horrible. With that said, the most refreshing sign to UK fans was the overall effort and enthusiasm of the team. That was not evident in the early stages of last season. All my concerns remain - #1 PG play #2 Interior presence other than Patterson (which is really good, but will struggle without some help). Harrellson is a question mark, but it was good to see him make the open shots in his first game. And some things never change. Stevenson still cannot catch a thing :lol: After watching Miller a couple of times this season, I was suprised by how athletic he was.

I took out the NKU is better part. Because I don't think they are. I was referring to you leaving out the part about the UK. It doesn't matter either way. You all are right, I got off on another tangent reading through these back in forths about who is playing who in the preaseason. It is totally irrelavent. Then I realized you didn't leave it out, you quoted me before I changed it. I apoligize. Nice game for the Cats, good luck this season.
November 4, 200817 yr Well, we finally got to see the UK teams of old last night. Pushing the ball up and down the floor. The bigs looked to find the guards and all the guards look to get the ball up the floor.
