Notice that they don't offer one for the Reds.

 

I guess they assume all the Reds' fans have already killed themselves.

Cremation. I have a fear of being underground and feel that being buried would be sufficating.

I read this stat in a brochure at the funeral home today...

 

"About 25% of today's funerals have cremation as their means of final disposition."

 

 

 

Also, how many of you have pre-arranged your funeral already???

BTW I put burried, I was trapped in a burning house when I was 7 and I am absolutely terrified of fire. My dad keeps saying he wants to be cremated cause he's tight and says it's cheaper but me and my mom refuse!

As I mentioned before, I work at a funeral home and I took a body to Pineville today to have the person cremated. That was my first trip to the crematory & I thought about this thread the whole way there, lol. It took about 4 1/2 hours before they were done but the main reason it took so long was because the "oven" takes about an hour or so to heat up. It normally takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours for a body to be completely cremated and that's if they only way around 170-200 pounds. The more a person weighs, the more time it takes to be cremated. Anyhoo, it was an interesting trip. I took a body in a box there, but came back with a small container of ashes...
