October 27, 200817 yr It's in Jacksonville, They play the game there every year, It's a nautral sight thats actually closer to Athens. Jacksonville is a neutral site.....In Florida. I have always hated where that game was played, imo if they don't want to go home and home then go Jacksonville / Atlanta (Georgia dome). JMO

JMO As stated before, Jacksonville is closer to Athens than Gainesville, and my guess is that More people in Jacksonville are pro FSU more than pro UF.

October 27, 200817 yr I think Florida has the advantage in that Georgia won last year and they'll use the team running on the field to celebrate as motivation. Other than that, this one's about as even as you can get, IMO. Both teams handled LSU in similar fashion. This one's a toss-up, IMO.

I was talking about UGA/UF and realize what you are saying. I just think that they should go home and home or at least Jacksonville/Atlanta. Again, JMO. Yes, it is "considered" neutral. The game has been played in Jacksonville for many, many years so I guess all involved are o.k. with it and I don't think that I will be changing their minds on it anytime soon :lol:. October 31, 200817 yr Game could go either way...... Gators have 1. Motivation from last years game 2. Motivation from the Ole Miss loss, which has led them to play better 3. Speed advantage....Demps, Rainey, Harvin. 4. Heisman trophy winner at QB. 5. Best defensvie player on the field in Spikes 6. The best kind of Urban Meyer: An Angry Urban Meyer. Georgia has 1. Best duo of backs in the Country. I know everyone is scratching their heads at that, BUT, Caleb King is the real deal. He is quicker thank Knowshon and looks bigger. Knowshon is Knowshon and IMO, is the best player in the country. 2. A quarterback with an absolute cannon. Should be the top pick in the draft if he leaves early. Stafford is a player, but his gunslinger mentality may hurt him against Major Wright and Co. 3. If healthy, one of the best 1-2 punches at linebacker in the country in Ellerbe and Curran. 4. They are better in the trenches. Especially if you count in FB Brandon Southerland whos back and healthy. 5. Possibly more motivation than Florida. They're were ranked number one in the preseason, and slipped out before the Alabama loss. The Bama loss had to be a total embarrassment because they got completely dominated. And after putting together another win streak, still get no respect from the human pollsters. 6. AJ Green. Dude is a freak. Plus, Massaquoi and Moore have played well recently. This game comes down to which team establishes their style of play. If Florida is able to spring big plays and turn it into a track meet, they win...Period. If Georgia is able to win the battle in between the tackles on both sides of the ball, and limit turnovers and UF's big plays they win.....Period. We will find out plenty from this matchup. Are Demps and Rainey for real? Was Georgia overrated? One thing too be sure of..... both teams will be out for blood. Should be a great game. It's too close to call for me.
