Not really. If there is no hope she probably wanted to go home.

 

My grandmother was terminally ill and she wanted to go home to spend the rest of her days. I can remember feeding her the last time I saw her alive.

Many elderly people who break a hip do not survive. I'm not sure why. My prayer's are with the family.

As stated above, at that point, when there is nothing that can be done, sometimes they send them home or to a hospice (like my grandfather, a week ago today) was sent. All meds (except optional pain medications) are usually ceased.

I hope you understand that it is not to get Obama a vote. I can't imagine the feeling of voting for my grandson for President of the United States.

I too hope that she makes it to election day, so she can possibly see her grandson win the election. Not sure how bad off she is, but if he does win, it also would be nice that she gets to watch him being sworn into office.

 

Just imagine the overwhelming joy seeing your son/daughter or grandson/granddaugher win the election.

 

I'd feel the same way if McCain's mom was ill, I would hope that she would make it to possibly see her son become president. I am sure most would feel this way no matter which party you are affiliated with.
