I am pumped!

Just a hunch, for the Classic I am not feeling Curlin for some reason.

It is a great day for racing! Every year we go to a Breeders Cup party. Can't wait either!

My understanding is that this is now a two day event with some races running on Friday. Wont be doing the Friday races, but will ready for Saturday.

I've watched and bet every single Breeder's Cup since they started and have attended every live one at Churchill, until this year. Family duties call. I'll have to send some picks with my buddies and catch some replays later. Maybe I'll do better than usual that way. I can't do much worse.

Friday is ladies day. 5 races on Friday and 9 on Saturday.

I am very excited. Going to Trackside for simulcasting! :ylsuper::ylsuper:

Years ago we went to the Breeders Cup in California. We had tickets to the NBC party. The cast of LA Law was there (thats how long ago it was). It was so cool to be in arms length of celebrities. I didnt make a fool of myself either!

Also went 20 years ago at Churchill. It was also a great time. Almost as much fun as going to the derby.

However, TV coverage is so good. We go to Turfway, make our bets then go to a party with our friends and watch the races in the comfort of home. Great fun!

I kinda feel the same way. Curlin is a great horse but he will be running on a new surface against some pretty high quality horses. If Casino drive is above 6-1 I will be playing him in the Classic.

A lot of longshots come in on Breeders Cup Day. I am looking for the big money!

Pulling for Dream Empress in the Juvenile Fillie race on Friday ( ml odds 6-1 ). She was the winner of the Alcibidies at Keeneland. Owned by a group with several members living in Northern Ky.

Is the name of the stable Living the Dream?

I, too, will be rooting for her. She won me some money that day in the Alcibidies. If she doesn't bounce off that nice effort at Keeneland she should have a nice chance to win on Friday.

Who is everyone playing Saturday?

I will try to post some plays Friday night. I know I will be playing Casino Drive in the Classic and Mr. Nightliner in the Turf Sprint.

A 9-2 Exacta looks good in the Classic..
