Browns 35 Giants 14

Featured Replies

So ends one of the more bizarre weeks in the NFL.

The Giants laid an egg. Just goes to show how tough it is to go 16-0 during the regular season. Anyone think the Titans will win out?

Cowboys fans have to love this one - the G-Men were poised to separate themselves from the Starboys but didn't come through. And the Skins are happy also, but have to be absolutely kicking themselves for letting one get away.

I still think so. Which one is better?

They certainly had a bad week.

Giants L to Browns

Cowboys L to Cardinals

Redskins L to Rams

Eagles W over 49ers

I still say their the best, however, the NFC South looks legit. :sssh:

Hands down? I don't think so. They lost to doormats for the most part this week. No doubt there is parity in the league, but no clear cut division leads the pack. Are they in the discussion?, absolutely! But need we revisit the thread where some were annointing this division as 4 teams better than the rest?

5 years ago...isn't he like 40 now? If Romo was getting hit alot...I can't wait to see what happens to Brad Johnson. Romo is pretty mobile...

Johnson won't hold the ball as long as Romo.

The AFC South.

I didn't expect Eli to much such a bad game, but I guess thats why the lost by so much.

We finally saw Cleveland play to their potential. It was bound to happen at some point. When Anderson and that offense get rolling, they can score with anybody. Eli's three picks cost the Giants a chance to make it a shootout.

You had to know the Browns were going to come with something...coming from a bye week with their backs against the wall. I didn't think they'd win, because I didn't think their defense would play that well. I did think the offense would finally show something.

I think Braylon Edwards summed it up in the post-game on ESPN. To paraphrase, he said the injuries, DA's concussion and the cut he suffered to his foot really set them back. He said they were worried about a staph infection when he cut his foot, so he basically sat at home and did nothing for 3 weeks and then it was time for the Dallas game. That would help explain some of his slow start...also, Donte' Stallworth was out so there was no one to take the pressure off on the other side. And the o-line was struggling with some injuries.

Last night, the o-line looked like the dominating unit they were last year and this team showed why the expectations were so high.

Johnson won't hold the ball as long as Romo.

I don't know about that.

He might do well, but I can't see him doing nearly as good as Romo (which hasn't always been good).

The AFC South.

Ahhhh, the kiss of death.

Considering this past week, instead of counting next week @ KC as a win for Tennessee, I'm just hoping now. Hopefully they lucked out and got a bye during one of the big upset weeks. And, it wouldn't hurt if KC would trade Tony Gonzalez this week. I'd prefer to be 6-0 with a 2 game cushion heading into the Monday Night game vs. Indianapolis.

FWIW, I'd rate the NFC East the best division because all four of their teams are good teams and all could potentially make it to the big game. No other division can make that claim.
