In a game like this week what should Ludlow do? Let Montooth try kicking or just go for two. He'd only made 3 or 4 this year, but in a game like this a 1st quarter missed kick can make or break it.

Is anyone familiar with Grant. Are they one deminsional or do they have the ability to pass when Ludlow stacks the box?

I'm guessing the Panther's wont get much love. Can't blame ya after a 13-12 win at Pendleton Co. last week and a 27-6 win against Brossart this week. Two games you can't merely survive in and expect to play with a team like Grant. Although remember in 06' and 07' the Panther's won games against the Brave's they weren't supposed to.

 

I don't know much about Grant this year. However you make them out to be like some kind of juggernaut or something with that statement. This is definitely a game Ludlow is more than capable of winning.

 

Also I don't think Ludlow beat Grant last year did they? It was 05 and 06. And I wouldn't say that Ludlow wasn't suppose to win those game, because I think Ludlow was just the better team those years, especially in 05.

I would have to check to be certain but I do believe Ludlow and Grant Co played last year with Grant Co. coming out on top. Ludlows team this year has far more leadership (Players and Coaches) this year then was exhibited last year IMO.. Should be a good game that won't surprise me with whomever wins.

 

As for Coach Logan it might be nice if he showed just alittle emotion don't you think? (lol..JK) Coach Logan is the type of positive role model that Ludlows young players need to be exposed to. He has a very positive passion that is transfered to the kids that will serve him well as a coach in the future. Coach Hornsby and Coach Logan are doing a tremendous job.

I do agree with you that I think Ludlow will win this one. Coach Logan has done a great job with the defense so far this year. This might be the first time in a long time that the defense is stronger than the offense for Ludlow. I don't remember the last time we could say that for Ludlow. Maybe back in 1999, because that was a great defense, but the offense was also pretty good as well.

Ludlow did win in 05 when Hensley was coach. Grant has won the last two meetings scoring over 30 points the last two years and holding Ludlow to two touchdowns both years. Should be a good game though. BTW Where is Coach Logan from, you have to love his enthusiasm.

I can say that they can do both. They have 4 really good running backs and the QB can run as well. The passing game is pretty good as well with several targets for the QB to hit.
