I think both teams match up well in size and speed. The qb situation at Lloyd, IMO puts them at a disadvantage. They would normally like to spread you out and use their speed. However, I do not see them passing well and I think Bellevue can focus on the run.

Don't get fooled into comparing Dayton as a common opponent. That is a rivalry game.

Yes. Scott is a SS... He's a full time starter.

Congrats to Scott. I didn't see him being a full time starter he must've made great strides this summer. Congrats Scott!

I think the Tigers will win this game but it will be close. Bellevue has some very nice athletes in Wills, Buckler, Barret, Hegge and their line did an exceptional job last week of opening holes.

 

They will have to stop the big play, if they can control the ball and stop the big play while not turning it over they will win.

 

If they turn it over more than once it could be a long night.

Can I pick a tie? This one will be an entertaining game, especially for an outside fan. Bellevue has two good and fast running backs in Barrett and Buckler. I think they will have good games running up the middle where Dayton was able to move the ball on Lloyd. Lloyd's running backs are very fast and agile, and I think could hurt Bellevue on the outside. Since someone has to win, I guess I will take Lloyd by a point, but really this will be a good one.

Thats what I was thinking. The backup QB for Lloyd throws the ball well enough at times to make teams cover the recievers, and Walker and Chappie are just above average running backsand can get the job done. I think we will see a very good game and Lloyd come out on top 24-21.

Chappie and Walker are good...but let's be realistic...they aren't great backs or even in the same class with likes of Simpson of Sk, JC of Highlands, Teipel of B'wood, or Quainoo of Boone.

 

Chappie and Walker might start at a handfull of the smaller schools in nky but they wouldn't see a lot of time in EVERY backfield in nky.

I think this will be a well played game by both teams. I just think that Bellevue's running game will be the difference in this one. I think Buckler has another 200 yd. game
