Barret is most likely out for the game, the kids next door are saying they are trying the best to attempt to fill his spot, but they believe he might be able to dress, not sure on that?

 

Kytiger89, not sure why, but as a Bellevue fan you always seem to be riping the young quarterback? He is doing something right obviously because he is managing a 6-1 football team.. And for your information his TD/INT ratio 5/4.. Wills you are doing fine, but definitly need to become much better to take your team anywhere in the play-offs...

During the game Friday he injured it in the first half, you could see him favoring it a bit, then he had a sleeve or brace in the second half. That was my guess why he received less carries as it went on... I spoke with a coach yesterday at their practice and I think it was a strain on both his ACL and miniscus maybe? not real sure..

Never want to see anyone hurt anyway, but atleast it's just a strain because I enjoy seeing him play. He gives it all as do most kids from Bellevue and the other river city schools.

I sure hope Barrett gets healthy....I also know that Eckstein will work with someone all week and get the ready to step up.

I know he hurt his knee in the game Friday night in the first half, that is why he didn't play as much in the second half. I was told he was recieving an MRI on Saturday morning, and probably just some strains to the knee area. Haven't heard anything on the MRI results, but hopefully he will be back soon.

From what I heard Thomas is out this week and will be back next week. Rodney Brock should be getting more carries this game. He is a fast and hard runner.

I am a Bellevue fan, but I am also a real fan, of any team I like. I'm not a sugar coater. At the beginning of the year, I said this team would only lose 2 games (Beechwood and NCC). They are a fine football team, but not sure how they stack up with Beechwood. And he is doing something right. He handles the offense well, for now. We'll see how they do this weekend.
