In the first two rounds of the playoffs District 5 plays District 6. 1st plays 3rd. and 2nd. plays 4th...Then the winners of those games play each other..I also believe our district travels this year..

 

Didn't they go back to the old system where our 1&2 of our district play at home and the 3&4 travel to another district. That's the way it should be. Like last year didn't we play Scott twice within a couple of weeks. That's just plain wrong

When the game was scheduled it was supposed to be on FSN, but at the last minute changed the schedule to the Conner/Ryle game.

Couldn't Holmes move up to the 3 spot IF (big IF) they beat Covcath and Scott beats Dixie? I know thats very unlikely to happen but those seedings aren't final yet as a loss by Dixie would give them 3 district losses and keep Holmes at two.

 

Also who are the likely teams that HHS, CCH, Dixie, and Holmes will see from the other district?

I thought that goes back into effect next year, but I could be wrong.

If this playoff format does change this year, then it looks like they will be competing against District 6, which contains Ashland Blazer, Johnson Central, Montgomery County, and Woodford County. More will be known about this district after tonight, but right now it looks like JC is in first, followed by WC/AB and then MC.

You are correct. The form I looked at must be for next year as Bryan Station will move up to 6A. And as the way everything looks now, MC will be out.
