I'm small, their clothes are cut to fit people my size a lot better than anywhere else I can find (that I can remotely afford). I like the styles, make, and quality of their clothes better than most places (once again, that I can afford).

 

Actually they put no logos on their clothes or I would probably have kept looking for another place. Clothing logos bother me...the only exception for me is Spyder...but I love their skiing clothes.

 

I probably haven't been there since last December.

 

You are correct, Banana Republic, GAP, and Old Navy, for the most part, do not brand their clothes as much as A&F, Hollister, and all of the other ripoff mall stores.

I've worn a combination of 5 clothing items for a long time.

 

Plain colored t shirts, football jerseys (or sport team affiliated t shirts) or t shirts with some type of musician on it.

Throw that with a pair of shorts or jeans and I'm good to go. I like it simple.

 

If I'm wearing a shirt with a collar, or god forbid, one that buttons up...someone has died or someone is getting married.

So that makes them what? $20 for a shirt instead of $40? Lol, j/k but still, I don't get the desire to be branded.:confused:

 

If a shirt of the brand is like 14.99 thats a good deal or below.

Kohls for all my work clothes... Some very nice stuff for some even nicer prices!

 

When I'm not at work... stick me in a tee shirt and jeans and I'm happy.

Kohl's, Macy's and Penny's usually, Christmas stuff from the mom usually from her spot, Dilliard's.

Dillards for me for menswear. Sometimes Macy's, sometimes Kohl's, sometimes Pennys. Sears has horrible men's clothes, except for the Land's End selection.

 

If you can't find a tie in the store, I know I'm not going to find menswear. My 18 year-old daughter likes the "mall stores" such as AE and Hollister the best. If I ever need a pair of jeans full of holes or a cotton shirt that is guaranteed to stay wrinkled despite best efforts at laundering, those are the places I will look.

My 28 year old son is a Nordstrom's guy, but that may be as much a function of where he lives (Seattle) than anything.

 

You nailed that description.

 

That's why they keep Hollister as dark as a cave. Throw in music so loud it's disorienting and totally overwhelming fumigation by their cheap cologne and you don't even realize what you're buying.
