October 3, 200817 yr Like I said in the prediction thread, he is vastly underrated. He is tough. I agree he had a very good 2nd half of the year.
October 3, 200817 yr Don't get down Cubs, you will be back with another shot in another 100 years.....

October 3, 200817 yr Author  This is an embarassment for all of Chicago... They booed the Cubs when the came in to the dugout.
October 3, 200817 yr I said/agreed with someone on another thread that the two best teams in baseball were facing each other in the ALDS .....Angels and BoSox. That may be true but this Dodger team is looking every bit as good. Another thing is that I honestly do hate to see the Cub fans booing their own team. They used to never do that no matter what. I am loving this for Joe Torre. I am a Yankee fan and will continue to be but I have to wonder if H. Steinbrennar is realizing that it is not Joe's fault . I like Girardi but Torre got the shaft by the Yankees. I am doing great on my picks so far..I picked the Cubs and the Brewers in the NL with the Cubs going to the WS. They're showing their true colors. Not a fanbase with a high baseball IQ.
October 3, 200817 yr Please, someone throw a cat, a goat or something out on the field so they can have something to blame it on . BTW, has anyone spotted Bartman at this series?

You mean the way Yankee fans don't boo A-Rod or Giambi earlier in the year? Give me a break. Or Phillie fans booing Ryan Howard at the start of the year? If I was there, I'd boo two errors in the same inning also. When did it become vogue to not be able to boo the home team?

The Phillie fans usually boo anyone and everyone in any and all sports, imo they are the worst. Yankees fans also boo players. I don't like that either. That is their right do do so though. I did not say other teams fans didn't boo players. I said that it was dissapointing to see the Cubs fan boo their team after all of them were going crazy and claiming WS title..."this is the year" and stuff like that. I picked the Cubbies to go to the WS as well. I just personally don't like to see fans boo their team. JMO :thumb: Edited October 3, 200817 yr by oldrambler
October 3, 200817 yr Sox fans have way to much respect and passion for their team to boo their players...I'm just saying.
October 3, 200817 yr This is hard to watch. Wait. No it's not... :fire: :dancingpa:dancingpa Only bad thing is my GF is a Dodgers fan..
October 3, 200817 yr I love all this love for the Dodgers. They've been my team since I was a child, so no one can accuse me of ever jumping on the bandwagon, but hopefully all these people are lifers like me!
