How terrible. This is the second year that the guy with the best talent has gotten the shaft.

 

Last year I thought Cas Haley should have beaten out Terry Fator, but Fator won. Fator is good but I found Haley much more entertaining.

 

Same for this year. There are much better talents than Neil E. Boyd. I can see better singing at UK's Opera or UK's acoUstiKats concerts.

Stringz was the best act, but I'm happy for Neil. He was all class, and he'll no doubt have a great career in opera...

I loved Nuttin But Stringz, they should have won. If it was my breakdown, it would have gone as such...

Winner- Nuttin But Stringz

2nd- Queen Emily

3rd- Eli

4th- Neil E. Boyd

5th- Donald

 

I loved all their acts and would watch any of them in concert except Boyd, I just do not enjoy opera, Donald had an amazing voice, and Eli was just a musician. Queen Emily was a great singer/performer, but the act that I would pay the most to see was Nuttin But Stringz, they are exciting, talented, fresh, new, and just plain fun to watch.

I love Neil E. Boyd, what a great guy. My favorite was Queen Emily, her voice was AMAZING.

Eli is the best on the show.

 

And in comparing Neil and Eli, Eli is far better.

 

I don't think Neil's opera-style singing is that marketable.

I agree that Eli should have won. Since the first time I heard him perform, he was my favorite. But Neal was a close 2nd or 3rd. Neal is an amazing talent in his own right. However, I don't see how he's a good fit for a Vegas show.

 

Eli's career will probably far outshine any of the other contestants. Personally, I can't wait for him to put out his first album. :thumb:

I don't doubt that they could play for hours, but I just don't see people wanting to watch them in a full show that only featured them. I think it would just get boring and repetitive after a while.

 

 

It's kind of like the Blues Traveller concert I went to. John Popper is absolutely amazing on the harmonica, but halfway through the concert we were just like "jeez, quit with all the harmonica solos." He was amazing, but it just gets old after about 30 minutes.

 

I think the same would happen with Nuttin' But Stringz.

I agree completely. They're good at what they do; but I just can't imagine sitting through that for more than a couple of songs. They will probably, as one of the judges suggested, end up backing up or being absorbed into, another act.

I thought Emily would win but am glad that Neil Boyd was the winner. He seemed like he was great guy and I thought he was sincere in his emotions.

Regardless of the outcome, all five should have a bright future ahead.

Eli was probably 4th on my list of the final 5. I don't know why but I never really liked him.

Nuttin but Strinz is the only act I would pay to see in Vegas. Seems to me there is another reality show that caters to the singers out there. Maybe Eli would fit into the America's Got Talent format because of the piano, but the rest belong on Idol. IMO

Eli should have won. But Neil is good , but not for a show in Vegas.

All five are winners in my book.
