October 1, 200817 yr From what I gather CB was not endicted on the alcohol charges. I think he is just misunderstood. Great signing for the Gals!
October 1, 200817 yr As soon as he sees this O Line he'll be heading straight to the bar I don't know how I missed this one. That may be the funniest post I've seen in awhile!
October 1, 200817 yr This team is dead to me. Right there with ya bud...Thankfully I have UK football to root for and UK basketball right around the corner.
October 1, 200817 yr Najeh Davenport would have been a better pickup, IMO. But, the Steelers re-signed him, just as I expected they would after the Mendenhall injury.
October 1, 200817 yr On a side note, Rudi has been made the starter in Detroit and Smith is NOT happy about it.

October 2, 200817 yr Even Chad what's his name thinks they need more convicts and drunks. I agree. The more the merrier.
October 2, 200817 yr No more money spent their way by me! I'm done with them until they clean house or win so many games they are in the playoffs:) Seriously I'm going to try my best not to spend any more cash on them! This is a JOKE! They might as well see if they can get Travis Henry while they are at it!
October 2, 200817 yr The sad thing is if the Bengals were 3 and 1 right now, and then went and got Cedric Benson to help the running game. Then a lot of you all probably would be saying how you liked the move and how it might help the team. Lets just face it, if we were winning not many of you all would care so much about it and would just like it cause it could help the team. But since we are losing everyone acts like its the worst move in the world. Winning cures everything. If this can help this team win games then thats just fine with me. I am not the owner of the team, so I don't care what people think for the Bengals bringing him in, or having Chris Henry on the team. As just a fan of the team, all I want to do is see them win. So I don't care what they do to win, as long as its not cheating in some way.

What it does do, however, is put the Gals back to the forefront of being the poster child for NFL management incompetence. If Benson was a quality back capable of helping the Bengals (or any other team), he'd have already been on a roster.
October 2, 200817 yr What's this winning you speak of....... Did I say we would win now? I just said if it could help, then I am just fine with it. We needed runningback help and he was the best option out there. Shaun Alexander just don't have it anymore. Benson has the talent, he just has to put it together and maybe he will now in Cincy.

If Benson was a quality back capable of helping the Bengals (or any other team), he'd have already been on a roster. Didn't he just get cleared a few days ago from those charges? So no team was going to sign him with those charges at the time...Also it could help the goal, because our running game or lack there of has been one of the problems for this offense the last year and a half.
