Nobody said anything about him dominating. He is clearly a very good basketball player and has gotten better each of the last 4 years I have watched him. I dont expect he will get any worse and if he continues to grow he should be good enough to play some sort of college ball. Considering he is an 8th grader I guess you have a good point about pressure but I am sure he will be fine and excel at CCHS.

Let's see him play HS ball. Too many times we take what kids do in grade school and over project them. A kid can dominate in grade school, and I know this young man was good in AAU ball, but now he is going to be playing against equal competition. Not discounting him, but let's see how he does over the next could ple years before he is the annointed one.

Did anyone report how the Boone Frosh teams are going to look?

:thumb: I'm pretty sure that his parents and whichever HS he ultimately attends agrees with you. It would be nice to see another D1 potential in NKY

Just because I said college doesnt mean I meant D1 but that would be very nice for any kid in NKY. :thumb:

In addition to that player, a certain 8th grader at CCMS should be playing/starting freshmen. He will give them a very strong backcourt!:ylsuper:

Can't Campbell can't find enough freshman players out of their 250+ boys they receive each year, that they need to bring up eighth graders?? :D

The kid can definitely play and wouldn't be surprised if he did play at the freshman level.

It would definitely benefit him to play against tougher competition and challenge the skills that he possesses. Campbell seems to be a guard factory in the making the next four years. Seems like great things to come for the Camels, unless he decides to suit up in the green and white.

Didn't I hear the kid in question decided to play AAU with a team from downstate this year vs. his old NKy area team he's played with for years? The Purple and Green both might end up on the outside looking in if he makes some friends playing downstate? I seem to remember that happening a few times in recent years?? :D:D

Only for another week and then he is moving on out of that terrible industry.

Very funny :madman::madman: He played for the Wolfpack for one year last year after his local AAU team disbanded.

KY Elite will give him great exposure this year. That is the main goal.

Glad you enjoyed--We all need a laugh these days!!

I thnk its a great move, exposure-wise for him from what I've heard, and certainly wish him the best!! My only point was that in general more than a few kids, once exposed to the statewide AAU limelight; have decided to settle elsewhere, as evidenced by the current rosters of several HS programs.

Selfishly I would hope, if he's as good as they're saying on here, that he'd stay close to home; so us NKY folks could watch him develop and grow.

Who in the world is KY Elite? How will they provide exposure?

IMHO, he's as good as advertised. :ylsuper:
