That is fine if he is playing both Frosh and JV but if he sniffs the court for Varsity than useless in my opinion. If he is that good he should be playing primarily with JV/Varisty. Im looking forward to watching him though and wish him best of luck.

The young man who trasnfered from Cooper to CCHS is planning to play Basketball. He's 6-6 and looked very athletic last week for the Camel football team. I don't know his name, but at 6-6, playing along with the fantastic group from last year should make CCHS a contender.

Pike will probably be in the Varsity rotation by the end of the season if the Colonels have a bad season and look toward the future.

What is the extent of the injury for both?

griffin broke his growth plate in his ankle 2 weeks ago and kennedy just had shoulder surgery

I like the 8th grader from Holmes who I seen playing jv over the summer. McClendon is one of the most talented kids in the area if not the most talented. I would think he would have to be to play jv for Holmes with players the have down there.

Christian is a fine player but Im not so sure he is ready for JV at a loaded Holmes High School. He could probably play JV at other schools but I would think he plays Frosh and by late in the year they move him up to get his taste of JV possibly.

I disagree I think he is ready for JV at Holmes. I've seen him in practice with them and he holds his own. In talking to coach Henley he also said the kid is ready.
