Featured Replies

With all due respect - have the Bird's already locked up '08 and now turn their attention to the '09 campaign ???:D

I kind of figured that's where this thread would eventually go. Thanks JB!!!

I would like to know who they have on schedule for next year and if they have any open dates.

Well, the SCHEDULE for 2008 has certainly been "locked up," as you say. Obviously, the results are still to be determined!!!!

I began to wonder about 2009, since it was recently mentioned that HHS will be playing Beechwood and I have heard that Ryle is on the schedule TWICE in 2009. It seemed odd to me that one team would be scheduled twice in the regular season. Also, I believe that some of HHS' 2008 opponents have been two-year contracts ending this year, so I'm thinking that 2009's schedule will be a bit different than 2008's!

I heard that Highlands was or is very close to scheduling Trinity for the next two years. What is the word in NKY?

Haven't heard but I hope so...

No prediction from me!!!! I pack the same amount of loads no matter who we play. Now since it's Cov-Cath, the loads might be a little heavier than normal.:D

I won't.

I knew you'd say that!!!!:D

Ryle x 2, Colerain, Holmes, Dixie, CovCath, Beechwood, Scott, LexCath, ?, T ?

Question: Who will be the next team from Campbell County to find itself back on HHS' schedule & when? NCC or CCHS?

CCHS should get back on Highlands' schedule. They have turned the corner and I think it would be a decent game. They would atleast give the Birds a better game than Dixie, Holmes and CovCath have this year. They have a pretty darn good frosh team and their middle school team aint too shabby either.

I heard that the Bird's tried getting Trinity for the last game of the year but Trinity doesn't want to play that late into the season.

Withrow, Ryle, Beechwood,Boone, Colerain and Ryle again the last game for non-district games.
