It's will be @ Raceland 7:30. I wish you could come. But I know you will have to be at the Ashland game. It wont even be on the air either. We cant even get a tape delayed.

You are kidding right? Coach McPeek is doing a great job with the boys, Raceland has a great team and they are very experienced. Congrads to the Rams, and the Eagles for playing hard through a tough time as most of the players knew Mr. Morrison well.

 

Prayers certainly out to te Fairview schools and community on the loss of Bob Morrison. I remember the man when I was in school at Raceland in the 70's.

Good morning Oldrambler. Its a good day to be a Ramcat. Ha Ha.....

Denton had 181 yards on 11 carries. Carver had 81 yards on 10 carries. Boyles was 5 for 10 passing for 100 yards. Selvage had 2 receptions for 79 yards.

Thanks for posting the stats Ram, the combination of Denton and Carver has been impressive this season, definatley two of the better backs in our area. Add a talented and very smart T. Boyles at qb with a couple of recievers like Selvage and Tolliver and the Rams have a balanced attack.

That one is a long way off, we will start talking about it on Oct. 25th, Russell is not even on the radar right now. Raceland has a huge district game with the #2 ranked team in the state (maybe #1 this week) in L.C.A., they imo will be the best football team that we wil meet all season.

Ok I am always the spoiler. Grads on the Rams but WLGC did a really good job announcing this year but a continuous comment they made was how both sides fans were silent. He was shocked at how quiet and to use my own word interested the Ram fans seemed. Ok, I am not cheerleading person but we have the best fans around and our fans do just about every cheer the girls will teach us but we really cant do that when you push the girls and the mascot all the way down to the goal post. Fairview needs to come up with a better system that girls and the mascots can be in front of their crowd. This coming from one that has both male and female grandkids.

Rams take care of business, but need to cut out useless penalties. The "bigger fish to fry" arrive in Raceland Friday night. Business is about to pick up.

 

I have total confidence that the coaching staff will have them focused & ready come Friday.

Congratulations on the win Rams! I thought the defense looked excellent tonight with the exception of Fairview's first drive. Logan had several nice plays from his D tackle spot. Also I thought the DB's looked much improved last night for Raceland. An impressive defensive performance once again. Offensively, Denton is an absolute man amongst boys out there. He can run through, around, and by any player on the field on any given friday...he's just alot of fun to watch. Carver had a nice 25 yard TD run as well. Like I've said before, those two backs complement each other perfectly and really put alot of pressure on the opposing defense. My only criticism for the night is that I thought the passing game looked a little weak. Thats not a knock on Boyles, Im not saying he played bad, Im talking about the passing game as a whole; qb, receivers, line, backs...everyone. It just looked to be a little out of rhythm and some-what sloppy at times. Its nothing that I dont think they wont fix before playoff time rolls around, but from my observation it needs a little work; timing with receivers, route running, things of that nature. With that said, the Rams did make some nice plays through the air, Boyles hit Selvage with two good balls and Selvage was able to take one of them to the house. Good win, still room for improvement but a good win nonetheless. Time to get ready for LCA!
