Notre Dame 35 Michigan 17

Good win for the Irish. They got a lot of help from Michigan, but overall great game by the offense, defense, and special teams.

Didn't get to watch the game but looks like both teams had some good O series.

They go ALL the help from Mich. There is only 2 turnovers that I can think of that ND actually created. They were in the right place at the right time for the rest of them. Mich lost this one. Nice job by the Irish to take advantage of the miscues. This will be a long season for the Wolverines. :creepy:

Not really. ND had 2 really good drives, but their 1st two possessions started inside the Mich 20 yard line after turnovers.

I was betting on Michigan by just watching them last week. Good win for ND, might help keep the pressure off their coach.

ND ouplayed Michigan. Worst Michigan team I have see period. Kind of shocked ND O line did not allow a sack, nice improvement from last year. Good luck ND rest of season. Michigan will be lucky to win 5 games this year.

Especially with all the talk about how great the Michigan front 7 was supposed to be.

They are really good, Claussen did a great job avoiding a couple sacks.

O...:thumb:

Coach Weiss is a resilient if anything. He even compared himself to Tommy Brady after the game.

Great win for the Irish, especially after the lackluster performance last week. Hope they can build on this.

That was a nasty hit that Weiss took.

Didn't see ND winning this game, but then again Michigan isn't very good. Great win for the Irish should help this program out a lot.

Saw some video of the post game press conference on ESPN. At least Weis was smiling and in good spirits considering the injury. A report asked if there was an offical diagnosis and his reply while smiling and laughing was " ACL and MCL, I feel like an athlete for the first time in my life."

Good luck to Coach Weis and hope for a speedy recovery.
