Saw some video of the post game press conference on ESPN. At least Weis was smiling and in good spirits considering the injury. A report asked if there was an offical diagnosis and his reply while smiling and laughing was " ACL and MCL, I feel like an athlete for the first time in my life."

Good luck to Coach Weis and hope for a speedy recovery.

Ya gotta feel for Coach Weis. That was nasty.

Think Michigan is regretting hiring RR yet?

They lost a ton from last season. They would've been down either way. Plus learning a new system. I think he be just fine. Give him some time to get his type of players on board.

From a ND fan as myself:

I have been grown up to hate Michigan because of ND rivalry.

However, I had always tolerated them and wished them well in every game except against ND.

The one and only reason I liked Michigan. Lloyd Carr.

Now that he is gone, I'll hate them forever.

As long as keep RR, I'll hate them even more. I hope they lose every game.

GO IRISH!

Just got home from the game, great time:thumb:. Loudest crowd I have ever expirenced at Notre Dame. The Irish owned this game from the beginning. Nice job executing on Michigan fumbles. From the start of halftime to the end of the game it was a complete down pour. I don't know the stat but all they did was run from there on out. IMO, the Irish would have won by a lot more if they would have been able to keep throwing the ball. Michigan couldn't cover Tate, and the only way they could stop Floyd was PI. Sam Mcguffie is the real deal, he was the only reason they were in the game.

Good win for the Irish though and a big test next week @ Michigan State.
