What two teams do you think will make it to the World Series and why?

I think the LA Angels will win the series against the Cubs.

Theyre without Zambrano and Harden right now. If those two dont come back healthy by the playoffs the Cubs have no shot.

NL is wide open if the Zambrano and Harden can not come back full strength.

 

Same for the AL. I think it will come down to the Sox and Angels.

I would like to see, White Sox vs Cubs.

I see Cubs and Boston.

I would like to see Cards but I don't think they will make it to the playoffs.

 

I would like to see D-backs and Rays.

Although Cubs and Sox (either one) would be historic.

I like the Mets and the Angels.

Brewers and Red Sox

It's all about the match-ups in the National League in my opinion.

If the Cubs have first round against Arizona, then I believe Arizona will advance. I don't think they will be able to get past Webb and Haren in a 5 game series.

If the Cubs have first round against an NL East opponent, Cubs advance.

If the Cubs have first round against Dodgers, Cubs advance.

If the Cubs meet Milwaukee in the NLCS, the Brewers will advance.

With that being said, I believe the Brewers will win the National League.

 

In the American League...

If Boston has a first round against AL Central, they will advance.

If Boston has a first round against Angels, it will go 5 games, and is a complete toss up.

If Angels have a first round against AL Central/Rays, they will advance.

If Angels and Boston play in a 7 game series, Boston wins (more depth IMO in rotation).

With all that being said, I will take the Red Sox in the American League.

 

And in the World Series, it will be a good match-up. Sabathia will win a game, Sheets will not, Lester wins 2 as the Red Sox take it in 6.
