We basically have a run away budget. A new turf field costing around what $800k-1M, along with a new stadium, locker room, baseball field, tennis courts, and indoor training facility on the way. Not to mention a $1.5M dollar Swimming Pool the year before. Its basically a runaway sports budget, also I'm not saying that people don't have money it's just the fact that people aren't entirely alright witht he fact to pay $20 to talk on forums. I would because sports, in general, is like at the top of my list.

mybad I didn't fully read what he was suggesting, thought Ryandamaste5 was suggesting starting a websited called JCHSPep. Dang work it distracts me when I'm trying to post on bluegrasspreps, I might have to complain to my boss.

You need to do a better job of promoting Bluegrasspreps.com at Johnson Central so more of your friends will get on here, and disussing the games, and the Golden Eagles more.

If Lynn Camp can get cyberink on here, and McCreary Central can, too, someone at JCHS and their potential BGP patrons are dropping the ball. They're not being slighted by anyone except their own if they are not trying to get the word out. Talk a little trash about their next opponent on here, and I guarantee you'll get some posts. (You may not like them, but they will be there.):thumb:

 

As far as passing up threads, I know mountain football, but know limited information on NKY football. Anything I post is just opinion or about something I have heard. I do pass up a lot of posts that I have no proverbial dog in the fight, but if I get to know a little about something, then I post. That is where the JCHS posters help us all out!

 

And, C'mon, for Pete's sake. It's $20 for a year. You'll spill that much Pepsi in a year.

I don't truthfully like to trash talk, because I find that if you brag about yourselves, then no one else will brag on you. And to begin trash talking to get more replies to threads is just out of the question.

It's just a suggestion. You don't have to say "so and so is an idiot, #29 runs like a girl and we'll beat them by 75."

Get a little loud and proud of who you are and let the banter begin. Sounds like they have to do something other than what they are doing to get it started like they want. IMO, of course.

Speaking of J.C., Ryandamaste5, do you think any of the district teams, Station, Montgomery, Ashland, or Woodford have made up any ground on Johnson Central this year?

I may just have to make a couple of posters in Photoshop and hang them up around the school.

Well considering from what I've heard Station has re-geared and is ready to play some football, and sounds like Ashland is coming back from a rough season as well. I haven't heard much on Woodford County or Montgomery as of yet, so I'm not sure of them. Woodford is always geared and ready to go so I expect a good game out of them, considering they beat us last year and I am not sure of how many players they have lost due to graduation. Guess it is time for some research.

Montgomery plays at Woodford this Friday, so that will shake out the district a little. I think B. S. is much improved and Ashland is hard to get a read on. I know J.C. had a good win to start the year, not sure what they did this past week though.

Not complaining, but no one ever talks about them like they do other teams.

It seems that Woodford County has lost to John Hardin -5A 42-14 and a close game between Bardstown- 2A 49-34, to continue, most of their district games are at the beginning of the season. Maybe they are trying to clinch district before injuries take over? And Montgomery County has lost both of their games so far, George Rogers Clark - 6A 0-19 and East Jessamine - 4A 21-29.

I have alot of respect for Johnson Central, I think it is great for Mountain football the way they have turned their program and facilities around.

 

But it sometimes get hard to pull for a team when you only hear about the negative things about the teams they have played.

What sort of negative things?

I looked at the aerial view pic of the school. Wow..impressive! Is that the elementary, middle and high school all together? Or just the high school? The football field looks awesome.
