And I can tell you that when that football player son grows up to be a football player coach...it doesn't end!!! And always...no matter what is going on on the field, I have one eye on my son and see everything he is doing. The pride is unbelievable!!!!

She can be their harshest critic and their biggest fan at the same time.

They are definately the "Behind the Scenes" heroes. My wife knows the game as well as I do. It's amazing. She could coach!

Has anyone ever noticed if a father tries to correct his football player son about the game, the coach tells him to butt out, but if a mother corrects her football player son about the game, the coach just stands there and lets her go.

 

I'm telling you, the "FOOTBALL MOM" is the most feared individual by the players, the fathers, the fans, and the coaches. Stay out of their way during football season or you will be a statistic.

I once heard one "MOM" complain to the coach about the lack of carbs and electrolytes in the pre-game meals, and lo and behold SHE started cooking all of the pre-game meals at no cost to the program. Now that was a coach who knew enough to just get out of the way!!!
