:thumb: True story.......one game a long time ago a Raceland "FOOTBALL MOM" rose from her seat and promptly yelled (I will make up the name of the son)...."Billy!!! If you don't start knocking that guy on his..."butt" (she used the donkey description) I can promise you that I will kick yours (insert above description) when you get home." :eek:.

Folks, don't mess with Raceland football moms, as Ram has sugested you will get hurt.

By the way, what made the above incident worse (or better) was that this outburst happened at one of those times that we all have seen at games that everything seemed dead silent, and her words seemed to echo throughout the beachers. :lol:

 

I speak my mind and don't care to say what I think, but I won't even do that. I have seen it done, and it is not pretty.

FOOTBALL MOMS are like Marines. You are never an ex-Marine, and you are never an ex-FOOTBALL MOM!!!! (And, from one of the above descriptions, they sometimes talk like Marines!!!)

What a great post ! Now that I think about it , I think you just described my wife. We are a lucky family !

I was actually hoping you would find something of all FOOTBALL MOMS in it. I used the one I know best, my wife, and some others I have known over the years here at Lynn Camp as an inspiration, so to speak.

My mother was a true football mom back in the day. She had two boys on the field, one son in a stroller and me cheering on the sideline. (I'd rather been playing football!) I can remember her soaking the boys' pants in the bathtub,trying to get out the grass stain in time for the next game. She would always say, "When is Raceland going to get orange and black pants instead of these white ones?" LOL but she loved every minute of it. She set a very good example for me.

I too am a football mom, and another job description for me is to be there when a hug is needed. Not all parents can attend the games, and so when a player on the team needs a hug....I am the one that they look for. I would never trade the 12 years that I have been their football mom. I have 1 biological son and 65 adopted sons and love each and everyone of them like my own.
